Atlas

Atlas is Saturn's second closest known moon. Atlas's orbit is about 85,500 miles from Saturn and has a diameter of 18 miles. The name Atlas comes from a Titan condemned by Zeus to support the heavens on his shoulders. Atlas was discovered by R. Terrile in 1980 from photos taken by Voyager.
