Deimos

Deimos is Mars's outermost and smallest known moon. Deimos's orbit is about 14,500 miles from Mars and has a diameter of 8 miles. The name Deimos comes from one of the sons of Ares. Deimos was discovered in 1877 by Hall. Deimos has a mass of 1.8e15kg. Deimos is most likely a captured asteroid.
