Miranda is Uranus' eleventh innermost known moon. Miranda's orbit is about 80,600 miles from Uranus and has a diameter of 293 miles. The name Miranda comes from the daughter of the magician Prospero in Shakespeare's The Tempest. Miranda was discovered in 1948 by Kuiper. Miranda has a mass of 4.384989e+33 pounds.
