Venus is the second planet from the Sun. It is also the sixth largest. Venus's orbit is the most circular of any planet. Venus orbits the sun at a distance of 67 million miles, has a diameter of 7,520 miles and a mass of 4.869e24kg. Venus is named after the goddess of love and beauty. Venus has been visited by more than 20 different spacecraft including Venera 7 which is the first spacecraft to land on another planet. Venus's day is slightly longer than its year.
